Maintenance Operative
Gracebridge Care provide residential care for young people aged between 10-18 years of age. Our goal is to support children and young people to fulfil their potential, grow into independent adults and have happy, successful futures. Gracebridge Care currently has three beautiful homes in Sutton Coldfield, Acocks Green, and Shirley, with plans to expand in the near future.
This is a full time permanent position
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Location - West Midlands area
- Salary £30,000 per annum
Overall duties include: Ø General planned and ad-hoc maintenance and repairs of all sites
Ø Painting and decorating works as required
Ø Assemble furniture and low level removals
Ø Assist in the assembly and repair of minor items
Ø Basic grounds maintenance including grass cutting, hedge trimming, leaf clearing, sweeping and rubbish removal
Ø Inspecting buildings, including heating, lighting and alarm systems to make sure they are in good working order. Carry out monthly fire safety checks, arrange necessary repairs to the building and fire safety equipment
Salary : £30,000.00 per year
