Big Data Java Developer
Hybrid (2 days per week into the London office)
Upto £130,000 + Bonus/Benefits
We are currently working with a global fin-tech brand specialising in cloud-based analytics, Archiving and messaging software's for some of the largest banks/trading organisations across the globe. Together we are on the hunt for a Big Data Java Developer to come and get stuck in with building a brand new Big Data Lake from scratch!
As a Big Data Java Developer you will be building out the central repository system for the entire reporting and analytics platform within a small but extremely focused team utilising the latest tech and ways of working.
In order to be a good match for this role you must have exposure across :
- Java
- Hadoop and Kafka
- SQL
- ETL/ELT
- Data optimisation techniques
Any of the below exposure will be also be a major benefit :
- Experience building out large data lakes from scratch.
- Previous exposure to the finance/fin-tech industry
