Overall Job Purpose Accountable for the internal user experience and daily management of the non-digital (core) systems across Health & Life. The key systems included within the scope of this role would be SAM (all 3 instances), Heal, Re-Insurance, AWD, Workflow (Verint) and Robotics. Executes the short to medium term product strategy and is accountable for delivering the 0-3 month product roadmap. Works collaboratively with business owners and technology development teams to create the product backlog, write user stories where necessary and define acceptance criteria that deliver the business benefit and value of the product and its features. A key member of the business and technology delivery teams, working to ensure what is developed meets the required customer and business expectations. Accountabilities Responsible for prioritisation, management and delivery of the 0-3 month non-digital product strategy and roadmaps Responsible for the daily management of related non-digital products Work collaboratively with the Business Systems Partner, business process owners and development and project teams to create user stories that are aligned to the overall delivery of organisational goals and desired customer outcomes Carry out detailed analysis of user needs, business requirements, impact, scope, risks, benefits and technical dependencies for user stories Ensure all user stories are captured, created and maintained in the product backlog, written in the agile user story format, with relevant support documentation and clearly defined acceptance criteria for each story Work collaboratively with the UX team to provide understanding of the user stories to ensure designs are aligned Ensure the product backlog is accurately prioritised through regular discussion and review with the Business Systems Partner and Business Owners, and other key business stakeholders Provide technical input into the business cases that are produced by the Product Manager and Business Owners Be a key contributor in an on-going optimisation programme, including A/B testing and personalisation Understand, communicate and drive optimisation of all leading metrics and KPIs across online and offline sales journeys Manage budgets for external project elements Skills Required Essential Educated to degree level Performance-driven marketer - highly numerate, analytical and results focused Strong knowledge of the PMI industry and agile product development Advocacy of the user and proven champion of the customer experience Experience building consumer/user quality products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology Exceptional communicator and collaborator Able to lead and facilitate meetings (e.g. lead scrum ceremonies and workshops to elicit requirements) with business and technical teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical stakeholders at all levels Ability to move between strategic discussions with senior stakeholders to tackle on the ground agile coaching with scrum teams Strong analytical skills and be able to work with our analytics team to review the performance of our journeys and identify areas of improvement Evidence of a proactive approach to self-improvement and an appetite to stay in tune with market trends Desirable Experience of using work management tools such as Jira, Trello etc. Knowledge of financial services, health and wellness sectors preferred Ability to define relative business value and service cost of product features
