This is the perfect role for an individual with property experience who wants to work for a local business, get their head down but then leave work at the office at the end of the day! The company developed from small acorns over 50 years ago and enjoy success year on year yet still retain a family, close-knit feel amongst the business, especially the finance team – you will be a part of the success story from day one, hence why staff retentions are some of the best I’ve seen! You will never feel overworked or under pressure as there’s 4 others in the team – every time the company grows significantly, they like to recruit or bring in additional heads rather than just pile more work on existing staff. However, it’s never boring and there’s plenty of things to get stuck into! In fact, one of the things that makes this such a good Accounts Assistant role – you’re not just sat processing service charge invoices but instead you’re actually helping to set the budget and forecast, liaising with landlords and tenants and really taking control of the residential portfolio… so, if having plenty of variety throughout the day is important this certainly ticks those boxes. The CEO is completely involved in the company – in fact, he often pops into the office to make a brew round or have a natter with this team – this is something that has really support staff wellbeing & productivity over the year and something they’re keen to continue with.
