Our newly opened, spectacular care home in Chesterfield is currently seeking Senior Night Care Assistants to join us on this exciting new journey. Goldwell Manor is a purpose-built home, with the needs of the residents being the inspiration. With a pub for residents, private dining areas and landscaped gardens, this is set to be a glamourous, new home offering residential and specialist dementia support.

What you will receive as a Senior Night Care Assistant;

  • £12.67 per hour :

  • Full-time, permanent contract

  • 38.5 hours per week on a rolling 6-week rota

  • 12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8pm-8am

  • Based in Chesterfield, S40 4AA

What you will be doing as a Senior Night Care Assistant;

  • Assist residents with the activities of daily living and personal care
  • Supervise a team of carers, providing support and assistance where required
  • Act as a role model for other care staff in respect of day-to-day activities
  • Provide support at meal times
  • Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care
  • Responsible for daily medication rounds, ensuring records are maintained
  • Interacting with, and encouraging residents to socialise and take part in activities

What you will need to be successful as a Senior Night Care Assistant;

  • Experience working within a caring environment
  • Hold or be willing to work towards L3 in Health and Social Care
  • The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcome and comfortable
  • Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire
  • Willingness to develop new skills
