The Production Activity Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and safe day-to-day operations of the plant. This role involves coordinating activities, managing raw materials, waste stream and ensuring optimal utilization of storage tanks and ISOs, maintaining a safe working environment and supporting maintenance activities within the designated area.


Shop floor Coordination:

• Oversee daily shop floor activities to ensure production target and daily output are met

• Lead and develop operators

• Coordinate with production teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation

• Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays promptly

• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and environment standards

• Lead the implementation of shopfloor management programme, to ensure daily operation

organization is compliant with SHE requirements, equipment care, production and customer needs. (i.e. daily plant alignment in terms of priorities, progress, issues and mitigation to ensure continuity across shift)

• Liaise with embedded civil and operations contractors on a daily basis

• Process trouble shooting and problem solving to minimise production delays and maintain safe

operation


Raw Material Management:

• Manage inventory and movement of raw materials within designated area (correct raw materials on plant, to align with production schedule)

• Coordinate with the supply chain and manufacturing logistic team to ensure timely material

availability

• Conduct weekly stock checks and reconcile discrepancies

• Implement inventory control measure to optimize storage and minimize waste

• Monitor storage tank level and ensure optimal utilization

• Coordinate mobile tanks/Isotanks cleaning and maintenance activities to supporting the

manufacturing logistic team

• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures for handling and storing materials

• Ensure logistics planning of: Raw Materials, Product Despatches, Product Repacking, Waste

Removal and Isotanks to align with production schedule

• Assist with achieving ISO accreditation and external audits

• Carry out month end stock reporting


Safety:

• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures

• Conduct safety checks and inspections within area

• Report any safety hazards or incident immediately

• Promote a safety-first culture among the team

• Duty Manager

• Assist in RCA investigations as required

• Ensure plant and processes are complaint with ‘management of change’ documentation

• Re-validate standard operating procedures and risk assessments


Maintenance Coordination:

• Support maintenance activities by proving necessary information and assistance

• Coordinate with maintenance and Shift Team Leader to schedule asset repairs and maintenance, as well as organize shift team resource to prepare plant for maintenance work

• Ensure production schedules area adjusted to accommodate planned maintenance activities

• Low and High hazard permit control, issue as required

• Manage LOTO isolations for maintenance preparation


Key Deliverables:

• Safety: safety incident rate, safety compliance

• Production efficiency: on-time delivery, production output, reduced overtime

• Inventory Accuracy: Stock accuracy, inventory turnover, reduced stock discrepancies

• Equipment Uptime: equipment availability, reduced maintenance downtime

• Communication Effectiveness: timely response to production issues, effective collaboration with

teams


Candidates will possess the following minimum qualifications and qualities:


• HNC level qualification in relevant discipline

• Experience in manufacturing or production environment

• Strong organizational, time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to build strong relationship with colleagues, influence decision-making and drive positive

change. Adapt to change and overcome challenges

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic understanding of inventory control principles

• Safety awareness and knowledge of relevant regulations
