Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Unloader. As an Unloader, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading and moving materials within our warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate machinery such as forklifts.
Duties :
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Safely transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate items
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects
- Build and assemble products according to specifications
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience :
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Valid forklift certification is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills :
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate items
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including load/unload procedures, shipping/receiving, and materials handling
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other machinery used in the warehouse
- Skilled in building and assembling products according to specifications
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Salary : £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
