Our client, one of the UK's leading Energy providers is looking to recruit an experienced training administrator. EDF Energy Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) provides a range of technical training programmes and courses to support the compliance and continualimprovement of our existing PWR and AGR fleet, as well as the development and delivery of new programmes to support the commissioning and operation of Hinkley Point C (HBS building) and future UK reactor designs. The NSA Reception Administrator will be professional with a friendly, problem solving attitude and have the ability to multitask and balance several key administration duty areas alongside "front of house" HBS Training Centre building duties. The NSA is a structured collaboration between EDF Energy Generation and Nuclear New Build (NNB) focussed on delivering technical skills and competencies to support EDF Energy's nuclear businesses. It brings together technical training teams from the EDFEnergy's Nuclear Power Academy (NPA) and NNB. The NSA is responsible for the development, delivery and assurance of training solutions in support of the competence of HBS, SZC & existing nuclear generation staff. The Reception Administrator will have a functional reporting line to the HBS/SZC Training Support Specialist (and Admin Team Leader) for all duty areas. The Reception Administrator will ensure full and efficient use of training resources in support of all HBS and SZC training processes and delivery commitments. They will also provide advice and guidance on relevant training administration matters as required.Further details are provided in the accountabilities section below. The contractual location will be Hinkley Point C. This role may include travel between stations and EDF Group locations. Working hours will be Flexible, depending on the schedule for the day. Normal Working hours will be 08.00-16.00. Accountabilities: - Be responsible for the front of house operation of the HPC Training Centre building for all or parts of the week. - Act as resource and logistics co-ordinator for critical parts of the training curriculum, to ensure NSA training processes are supported in an effective and consistent manner. - Support with the NNB Mailbox with administrative tasks to include general queries and enquiries. - Assist with room bookings and associated requests, including the setup of rooms. - Support the training administrative processes for classroom and simulator training instructors - Support the training team with routine activities associated with role training compliance. - IT On boarding for new starters - Team documentation uploading - Have a nuclear safety focus in all activities and responsibilities undertaken. - Stationery ordering, ensure communal photocopiers are replenished each evening. Keeping track of office inventory and ordering supplies when necessary - Maintain general library Knowledge & skills The following items are seen as essential -- Experience with Front of House duties - Use Initiative and be forward thinking - Excellent team working skills - Organising and Planning skills. Ability to prioritise and organise tasks effectively - Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills, coupled with attention to detail. - Experience in planning and implementing large programmes of training courses - Works with enthusiasm and energy and can engage with people at all levels of the organisation The following items are seen as beneficial. - Basic knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training - Experience with SAP/PeopleFluent Training Administration systems - Experience in supporting Training Committees - Experience in operating Training Compliance systems - Experience with the Office Software packages - Experience with minute taking Please note; if successful you will be employed by Manpower working on a temporary ongoing basis with scope for extension. Our client are operating a Hybrid working model, therefore the need to be onsite a number of days a week is essential but there isscope to WFH. You will be expected to undertake a drugs and alcohol test as well as be security checked to BPSS and CTC Level.
