Account Executive (Key Accounts)

Responsibilities :

  • Validate first invoice produced against newly assigned customers
  • Check New/ Add customer setup
  • Produce and post all invoices in accordance with the billing runs
  • Check billing outputs and send them within the time frame
  • Carry out invoice amendments as required
  • Resolve unbilled issues as they arise
  • Ensure all systems are updated appropriately
  • Manage change of ownership for both customers
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues
  • Liaise with third parties in the resolution of queries
  • Assist in training of new starters and or procedures
  • Answering all incoming calls to Customer Service team

Experience Required :

  • Good understanding of the gas and Electric industry
  • Background within the Utility industry - desirable
  • Knowledge of billing processes and account management
  • Good communication, call handling and letter writing skill
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proven experience in a customer facing role
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel
