Major Accounts Director - (Insurance Market)

The Role : The Major Accounts Director will be responsible for managing a current portfolio of around 50 accounts, that is currently turning over circa £2 Million per annum. You will research and identify new opportunities within your accountbase and upsell a range of market leading business intelligence products to them. This book of business sits in the insurance space specifically. As Major Accounts Director you will take ownership of some of the world's largest insurers and re-insurers. Youwill be able to sell at board level and manage a lengthy sales cycle. You will also be responsible for renewing and maintaining your current account base, through regular meetings and international travel.

Whilst this is a role solely winning new revenue from existing business, it is not well suited to someone who only has experience in revenue retention, renewals, and client management. This is a fully-fledged sales role that would be ideally suited a topperforming new logo contributor.

Requirements : To be considered for the Major Accounts Director role you must have:

  • Demonstrable experience of managing high value deals (£100k+)
  • Experience working within Business Intelligence, software, Subscriptions or Data markets previously.
  • Ability to sell at a high strategic level
  • Exposure to the insurance sector is advantageous.
