Network Administrator - Cheltenham - £40,000 - £45,000 *This role will require onsite working and you must live locally Network Administrator role working for a leading FTSE 100 business who are recognised as one of Britain’s most admired companies. This role will be responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of my client’s network spread across buildings located in and around Cheltenham. The successful applicant will be part of a small team of Network specialists, ensuring the delivery of first-class service to the business, while ensuring the group standards are followed. This team is responsible for managing the configuring, designing and daily changes within the network, alongside supporting and managing 3rd party partners. You’ll have the following :
- Practical qualifications or experience in IS areas, ideally CCNA, CCNP, ComTIA A+
- ITIL qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience of work with exposure to working within WAN and LAN management.
- Experience of being part of and leading a quality service minded IS support team.
- Experience of Hosting and third-party management.
- Previous Technical Support management experience and management of a technical support team
- Experience in the creation and implementation of appropriate SLAs.
- Sound understanding of Microsoft and VMware
- Communication skills with an aptitude to use technology for process improvement
- Experience of working in a network within a WINTEL environment
