The roleAs a Radio Frequency Systems Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. A fantastic and rare opportunity to join a leading design team, working on new and exciting Radio Frequency projects as part of a rapidly expanding organisation and to become the next generation of world-renowned Radio Frequency Communications experts. Day-to-day, you’ll support the R&D Team in developing innovative RF advancements in performance and design, as well as: Be an integral part of the design team, maturing system architecture, solution design and producing contract engineering deliverable documentation. Work with the Engineering leads and design team, deriving managing system and sub-system requirements. Manage requirements traceability activities and documentation. Create solutions in response to customer requirements, from concepts through to in-life support. This role is full time and is a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week onsite at Bristol. Essential experience of the Radio Frequency Systems Engineer: Pro-active engineers with a theoretical and practical engineering background. Have a proven track record of successful systems engineering design and support. Engineering expertise across the engineering lifecycle V-Model or equivalent from initial concepts, requirements, design, implementation, integration, verification, validation, maintenance, and supportability. Work collaboratively with the engineering and functional specialisms, to deliver a cohesive solution for the customer. Has an awareness of both technical and project risks and is able to understand how these need to be managed.
