Job Title: PE Teacher Location: East of England, Essex, Southend-on-Sea Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £30,000 - £41,000 per annum Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to students. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the educational needs and abilities of students. Assess and evaluate students' progress in physical activities. Provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration on student performance. Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events. Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Physical Education or a related field Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level Knowledge of national curriculum requirements for Physical Education Education: Degree in Physical Education or a related field Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience: Teaching Physical Education at secondary level Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of teaching strategies for Physical Education Ability to effectively assess and evaluate students' progress Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience coaching sports teams Working Conditions: Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for extracurricular activities Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis Physical activity required during teaching and sports events All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
