Are you looking for a new challenge? – If so, then we may just have the right role for you!Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking an experienced Agricultural Engineer to join our client who are the 2nd largest crop growers in the UK!Due to the nature of this role, previous experience as a Farm/Agriculture Engineer is essential.Company Benefits:Permanent from day 1Starting salary of £38,000.00 pa (Negotiable depending on experience)Training and DevelopmentCasual DressCompany EventsCompany PensionFree onsite ParkingA dynamic, friendly working environmentDuties of a Farm Engineer:Carry out routine servicing of all farm machineryReplace essential fluids and lubricantsEnsure documentation is accurate and up to dateComplete end of season overhaul and repairs on a wide range of agricultural machineryEnsure all machines and vehicles are in good working conditionTransfer equipment to alternative vehicles as necessaryReplacing parts and assist in building new machines, within the workshop environment.Diagnose faults on machines using hydraulic or pneumatic systems and low voltage electronicsEnsure faults and repairs are carried out effectively and in a timely fashionCarry out field-based repairs as and when requiredDeal with emergency breakdown repairsCandidate Requirements – Essential: Experience and knowledge of agricultural machine maintenanceExperienced with Pneumatics and HydraulicsStrong ability for diagnostics and repairsCandidate Requirements – Desirable: Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (Level 3)Electronics and Welding (TIG/MIG) SkillsTelescopic JCB driverSafe use of Oxy fuelsAbrasive WheelsMS Office skillsHours of work:To be discussed upon interviewSalary:Negotiable depending on experience – from £38,000 +
