My client, a southeast London local authority, is looking to recruit two Executive Support Officers for a period of three months, starting early March.

This is a role providing diary and inbox management to multiple senior leaders across the Council.

Summary of Responsibilities and Personal Duties :

  • Draft reports, briefings, communications materials (for staff, Councilors, partners and residents as required) and other documents to a high-quality standard.
  • Routinely carry out research, obtain information and prepare briefings for, and on behalf of, the Director, or other appropriate officers.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary projects as required and provide regular feedback on progress.
  • Proactively maintain an awareness and understanding of matters, priorities and key issues affecting the Directorate and its services.
  • Advise Directors on key issues within the division, directorate or Council that require attention or focus.
  • Attend a range of meetings for and on behalf of Directors taking notes and reporting back as necessary.
  • Effectively use Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint and Word to ensure high quality, professional output for presentations and other documentation for Directors and own work.
  • Maintain diary and plan workloads of Directors, liaising with other Support Managers and Officers to ensure proper co-ordination across the directorate and the Council.

The role will be full time 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

£19.87 PAYE

£24.52 Ltd Umbrella

The role will be hybrid, with an expectation that the successful applicant will be in the office (London SE6) 2 days a week. flexible on WFH days.
