Nixon McQuade is excited to partner with a leading business in Dungannon in their search for a dedicated Inventory Controller to join their team. The Inventory Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of the Stores Department, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and ensuring prompt and accurate flow of materials to Production in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet operational needs. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies in orders. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and address discrepancies or issues in a timely manner. Optimi s e inventory processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and logistics, to streamline inventory management processes. Monitor inventory turnover rates and implement strategies to minimise excess or obsolete stock. Prepare and analyse inventory reports to provide insights to management and support decision-making. What you ' ll need : 3 years ' experience in inventory / stock management or related roles. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices. Excellent organi s ational and time management skills, with the ability to prioriti s e tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
