Operations associate

We're looking for an Operations Associate to join the team as we begin to scale out Academy Operations. As Ops Associate, you'll work directly with our co-founder and COO to coordinate and drive all areas of the business. This is the ideal environment for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to gain experience of building a business from the ground up, work directly with team members from all business functions and drive meaningful impact in their career.

Location: Remote (global) with the following guidelines:

  • You must be able and willing to attend multiple UK team offsites in any given year - typically we run these on a quarterly basis
  • You must be available for team and company meetings between 9am and 6pm UK time
  • You must be able to speak, read and write English to full professional proficiency

Responsibilities : You will work directly with our co-founder, assisting with the day-to-day management of the business from an operations and finance perspective, as well as with longer term strategic initiatives, responsibilities to include:

  • Conduct research on future strategic initiatives and assist with planning and execution, such as new market entry, strategic partnership opportunities and new product expansion
  • Research, recommend and implement new software and systems to allow automation of tasks within the business and realisation of efficiencies
  • Assist with ongoing company management and visibility initiatives, take the lead on producing the monthly management pack and running internal initiatives to increase visibility across the business
  • Work with the co-founders on future funding rounds, aiding with the production of collateral materials
  • Produce financial analysis such as monthly cost reviews, monthly reporting packs, forecasting and scenario analysis
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, office management, invoicing and cash collection, employee onboarding and more

Requirements :

  • At least a 2.1 degree from a top tier university
  • Track record of exceptional achievement
  • Demonstrable entrepreneurial spirit with inbuilt versatility
  • Willingness to learn with high resilience to challenges
