The sites may be owned, leased or be occupied through a serviced space arrangement. WPS works in close collaboration with our Global Support Function partners (Tech, HR, EHS, Legal etc) and relies extensively on our network of vendor partners to deliver a safe, productive and desirable work environment for all users of our sites.This is an exciting time to join us and help shape the future. It’s an opportunity to be part of something special.Role OverviewThe Head of WPS will be responsible for leading the organization, including developing the vision, goals, and objectives for a variety of complex service offerings across regions. This role will provide leadership and be accountable for all areas including real estate, facility management for all our commercial sites, managing, sourcing and developing the third parties services, and creating and delivering projects to deliver Haleon’s facilities strategy and improvements.The role is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the E2E real estate, capital improvement and facilities management strategy at all WPS locations, ensuring business needs, cost, quality and compliance metrics are achieved. The role requires delivering a coherent, joined up approach to employee experience and aligning to their customers business strategy. This is a high impact, high complexity role with significant scope that spans across multiple areas and suppliers.In this role you will… Partner with the HALEON Leadership team across all regions and functions, to strategically develop, evolve and deliver WPS strategy for the businessManage our real estate portfolio aligned to Haleon’s wider objectives Build facility services and the third party set-up to deliver these and performance manage themSource, negotiate and contract facility services and related capex requirements.Establish and develop external relationships, to optimize WPS operations, real estate and capital services to best serve our employees and business unitsOwn and drive the design of guidelines for Haleon commercial estate and compliance to these in projects The role is required to manage & influence many senior stakeholders' enterprise-wide. Drive the creation, execution and management of comprehensive sourcing strategies for spend categories in facilities and capex, in a matrix approach with Global leadership and BU leadership, in order to best meet the needs of Haleon overallDevelop and grow a diverse professional team of 3rd party providers accountable for the delivery of a world class end to end Real Estate and Facilities functionWork closely with cross-functional (e.g. HR, Tech, Finance etc to ensure WPS's services are integrated as part of a joined up, cohesive approach to employee experience.Assume full accountability for the delivery of OPEX and CAPEX budgets, ensuring financial acumen across their organization and responsibility for budget delivery across projectsDevelop and embed contract governance processes and structures to ensure value and delivery in the Service provider contracts, and to ensure effective risk management controls are in place.Accountable for the prioritization and delivery of a program of capital projects (including minor works, infrastructure, business driven and energy projects) Lead the onboarding of new sites into WPS management, ensuring thorough due diligence, solution development and service integration.Uphold and ensure compliance with internal HALEON policies, standards, procedures, alerts and relevant external regulatory requirements with respect to Quality, Statutory and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness partnering & stakeholder management in HaleonBuild strategic relationship with a network of senior Haleon local/regional/functional/site stakeholders, to understand business requirements, identify opportunities to create value and to position WPS’s value proposition. Influence key stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development endorse recommend strategies, support execution and agree how benefit delivery will be budgetedStrategy executionAlign with broader Procurement team and QSC, and work in collaboration with them to provide local business requirements and market information Execute strategies in scope of responsibility aligned with the requirements of stakeholders and business partnersDrive operational efficiencyChallenge requirements and educate stakeholder to drive maximum contract and policy compliance, employee experience and strategy alignmentDrive operational simplification across WPS areas and processes in scopeExternal supplier relationshipsBuild strategic relationships with key regional/local suppliers at a senior level and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships. Ensure local considerations are accounted global & regional supplier relationships. Ensure regional considerations are taken into account in global supplier negotiations and contractsDevelop and Implement Operational excellence strategies and plans for key regional/local suppliers to drive improvements against KPIs.Qualifications & Skills: Preferred Level of Education: Master’s DegreeArea of Specialization: Engineering, Facilities, Real Estate related disciplineMinimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required: Significant (10+ years) professional Facility services or Real Estate experience in a comparable large, complex companySignificant leadership experience (5+ years at Director level or above)Strong capability to execute; this is core to the role Strategy development and implementation; strong value creation capabilityStrong stakeholder management and strategic influencing skillsStrong people leadership and management skillsStrong capability to drive accountabilityStrong business and financial acumen Strong technical expertiseDemonstrated decision making capabilityDemonstrated relationship management skillsDemonstrated programme management capabilityUnderstanding of legal/ compliance/ regulatory frameworksStrong external orientationWhy is this level of experience required?
