About Us Huckleberry Vets is beautiful, environmentally friendly, independently owned small animal practice located on the outskirts of Chichester. Huckleberry Vets is located on the outskirts of the city of Chichester close to the South Downs National Park and local beaches.The city hosts various events and festivals and has a great selection of high-end retailers, independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The Role This is a part-time role for a Veterinary Surgeon, although full-time will be considered if we think you are absolutely fabulous and part-time is deal breaker for you! The day is split between consulting (15 mins) and surgery with a 1x hour lunch break and 2x 1 hour admin slots. The day runs from 8.30am to 6.30pm Mon-Fri and 8.30am to 12pm Saturdays and there is no out-of-hours. Successful Candidate Someone who is ideally be 3+ years qualified and is confident consulting and carrying out routine surgery. The right attitude and personality is as important, if not more so, than your ability as a vet. As well as being compassionate and calm we are looking for someone who will approach their day with a positive attitude and a sense of humour. We need someone who will thrive in an environment where autonomy and fun at work is encouraged. If you are easily offended this probably isn't the practice for you. The Package
