Compensation Data £30000 - £35000 Mission Details Division : Consumer & Construction - Trade Department : OB1 / Siroflex Location: Scotland based JOB TITLE Technical Demonstrator / sales One of a team of technical demonstrators OB1 JOB DIMENSIONS   ACTIVITIES · To build and maintain strong relationships with all customers · To ensure OB1 / SIROFLEX products are displayed and listed within the Builders Merchants sector within geographical area, supporting open days and campaign`s set by the commercial team. · Carry out demonstrations, staff product training, contractor training, seminars as instructed. · To ensure centrally agreed marketing campaigns are executed in all sectors and all contracts · To update and fully use the CRM system on a daily basis · To undertake administrative duties including monthly reports, ensuring all admin is completed on time in full · To undertake a program of personal skill development including CSSW and CSTDB accreditation · To support, cover and perform regional duties as instructed by the National Technical services manager and instructions from the commercial management team.   CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT The role operates in a highly competitive, dynamic and innovative environment. Within all construction supply merchants.   ACCOUNTABILITIES To direct and co-ordinate all field sales activities for a given geographical sales area, achieving or exceeding prescribed sales, margin and KPI targets, maintaining optimum customer relations on an ongoing basis and developing new business opportunities within the area. To support area sales managers as required.   QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Preferably educated to degree level. Strong business acumen. Good product and market knowledge with the ability to understand technical standards and requirements. Must have a broad understanding of customers businesses and associated issues. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. The job - holder must be able to be flexible, plan and organise the workload with a professional self-motivated approach to the role. Must be computer literate and have a strong knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
