Every day TCV works across the UK to create healthier and happier communities for everyone - communities where our activities have a lasting impact on people's health, prospects and outdoor places.This exciting role offers an opportunity to mix staff management with hands on delivery of environmental conservation projects.You will co-ordinate TCV's practical environmental conservation works across Essex, liaising with partner organisations and supporting our local staff team to deliver high quality opportunities for volunteers.You must have good communication and negotiation skills, experience of setting and working to budgets, assisting with grant applications and producing written reports to partners and funders. The post holder must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.An understanding of how to engage and manage groups of volunteers is essential and knowledge of using hand tools to perform a range of practical habitat management techniques is highly desirable.You should be comfortable using a range of social media applications to support, promote and celebrate our work.TCV is committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and believes everyone deserves to have nature in their lives.
