Job descriptionPermanent Veterinary Surgeon - Carlisle, Cumbria Are you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon? Are you looking for flexible work-life balance? We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Carlisle, Cumbria for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time for up to 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. The practice can be as flexible as needed with hours to support a healthy work-life balance and other commitments. There will be no weekends, OOH work or on-call duties.Key details Type: Small animalHours: Full or part time, up to 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 daysWeekends: NoneOOH: NoneOn call: NoneComputer system: MerlinConsultations: 15 minutesTeam: 3 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 3 ANAs, and a supportive non-clinical team The role This is a full time role working 40 hours per week over 4/5 days.They offer 15 minute consultationsThe role will invovle a mixture of consultations and surgeries.Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work-life balanceThe Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients. About them: First opinion small animal practiceThe practice is fully equipped offering a wide range of diagnostics and veterinary services.They have a great local reputation and pride themselves on the communication in terms of client care that they provide.They support and encourage staff development and have two Vets studying towards certificates.They are a nurse training practice.With the various levels of expertise within the practice they can offer a plethora of various cases and ongoing learning and development opportunities. They are able to support certificates.The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
