pay starting : 12.000 to 14.000

the pay is not pro rata down

We are a small, calm, creative Independent Specialist School for young people aged 11 to 16 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) who find the hustle and bustle of bigger settings overwhelming. We follow a bespoke, therapeutic and nurturing approach to support pupils with a range of neuro diverse and developmental needs.

No experience required, however a genuine desire to work and support children within this environment

Skills :

• SEN experience or understanding would be an advantage
• Awareness of Autism
• Ability to engage with children aged 11-16 and support them with Entry L3 to GCSE level qualifications
• Good standard of Maths and English
• Good sense of humour with caring skills to support our pupils
• Familiarity with school support for intervention tasks and learning methods
• Great communication and organisational skills
• Empathy skills and an excellent team player
• Cool-tempered and positive attitude, understanding of SEN pupils
• Firm but kind personality, excellent relationships with children
• A love for teaching in a creative and holistic manner, and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students, teachers and parents
• Ability to support children to enable them to reach their full potential

Salary : £12,000.00-£14,000.00 per year
