  • My client, a fast paced insurance company, are looking to take on multiple new claims handlers to deal with an increase in call volumes. So if you feel comfortable answering phones, or calling out to speak to people who may be in a difficult situation, then read on! Responsibilities :

  • Be the primary contact for policy holders who are making a claim, and helping to negotiate settlement for items lost

  • Be given, and manage your own caseload to ensure claims are settled in reasonable time

  • Manage expectations in terms of settlement amounts

  • Guide customers through the settlement process and influence their decisions where possible

  • Ensure that claims are handled in the correct manner and logged on the internal system accurately

  • Provide a quality service to customers in line with company guidelines and legislation

  • Communicate effectively both internally and with customers

  • Settle claims to the benefit of the company

Requirements :

  • You’re able to communicate effectively with a range of people, from the public, to lawyers
  • You are confident in being able to negotiate with and influence individuals towards a mutually beneficial resolution
  • Previous experience delivering a high level of customer service would be ideal!
  • A positive attitude, and resilience when it comes to dealing with potentially difficult conversations would be a big help.
