RPS HomeServe+ are a plumbing and heating company based near Carnforth, Lancashire. A position has come available in our Heating Maintenance Department which provides gas service and breakdown cover for social housing contracts and private customers.

Main Purpose of Job : Responsibility for providing an efficient and courteous service, ensuring that the company’s image is enhanced at all times

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • To send weekly service appointment letters
  • To enter service appointments onto evolution our in house computer system
  • To accurately update service spreadsheets
  • To reappoint missed service appointments
  • To order parts where required, raise purchase order and arrange return visit
  • To update 3rd party computer systems
  • Manage diary for Heating Maintenance engineers
  • Responsible for weekly updates to Customer
  • To be fully conversant with all functions of telephone and computer system
  • To provide an efficient, courteous and professional approach to all telephone callers and contacts
  • To assist where necessary other departments as required in line with your duties, as directed by Heating Maintenance Manager
  • To assist with answering in-coming telephone calls to main switchboard as required and take messages and distribute calls as necessary

Due to the location of the office the applicant would need use of a vehicle as there is no public transport nearby.

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,336.00 per year
