As a French and Spanish Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing students' language proficiency and fostering their appreciation for Spanish and French cultures. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering dynamic and interactive lessons in French and Spanish, tailored to students of different ages and abilities. Creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and facilitates the development of language skills. Assessing and monitoring student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to support individual learning needs. Organising and participating in cultural excursions, language exchanges, and other relevant extracurricular activities. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the German and Spanish curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and the school's objectives. Maintaining effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, and addressing any concerns or queries. Engaging in professional development opportunities and contributing to the wider school community through faculty meetings and school events. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes: A recognised teaching qualification and a relevant degree in Spanish, French, or a related field. Proven experience teaching Spanish and French to students of various ages and proficiency levels. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the German and Spanish languages, cultures, and literature. A passion for language acquisition and the ability to inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that values multicultural understanding and celebrates diversity. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and language-related trends.
