Job Description Production Area 1 department in Leeds is a fast-manufacturing environment with multiple functions that aims to be a world class manufacturing entity. A team of up to 35 multiskilled operatives work tireless to deliver the best products for our customers and for DIY industry in general. This role will support and ensure that customer orders are produced in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. To identify and resolve areas of improvement and inefficiency.  To be involved in new project / processes and be the voice of production to the process / engineering team. The Opportunity:   Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Health & Safety All processes, equipment, materials, and area activities are safe to operate & legally compliant. Create and maintain SOP’s, Risk Assessment & COSHH Assessments and ensure best practice standards are being applied. Delivery, Efficiency & Cost Monitor Batch Yields are in line with the Bill of Materials to ensure costing accuracies and Waste is minimised. Opportunities for OEE/ Uptime improvements identified, resourced, and implemented. Scrap Recording, & process order information are followed to ensure stock accuracies and to identify waste reduction opportunities and execute scrap reduction. Know the process bottlenecks and create and execute a plan to minimise. Change Management To be production representative on process changes. To support the management of change process and carry out project tasks. World Class Manufacturing Implementation support.
