Machine Operator

We are looking for Machine Operators to work with one of the UK’s leading and most recognised food manufacturers.

A Machine Operator should be able to complete physical duties and complete problem-solving tasks these may include:

  • Maintaining a safe work environment and monitor equipment.
  • To ensure that the weights, vacuum, torque and codes for each product is correct.
  • To ensure that the labels and packaging is correct for the product
  • To carry out and understand the cleaning procedures.
  • To change over the machines for product and line changes.
  • To manufacture the product to the required specification, in a quality and hygienic manner.
  • Carrying out safety checks on the machinery
  • Following established rules and procedure
  • Lifting weight up to 20 kilograms

Shifts available: Day shifts rotation 06:00-14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 - £13.60

Overtime paid x 1.25 after 37.5 hours and x 1.5 on 6th day

Located on the outskirts of Newport, we now provide a PSV transport to and from the place of work with pick up/drop off points in Cardiff and Newport if required at a cost of £3/day.
