This is a 12 month maternity cover contract.

The Digital Communications Officer role is for someone with a keen eye for design, ability to create stunning visuals and translate complex information into something easy to understand. They will also be able to use web-based systems such as WordPress to keep the website fresh and current.

The role works across the organisation and with our members, customers and partners to bring our brand as an innovative improvement agency to life. Skilled in using design packages, the post holder will create assets for our digital channels and print to support our programmes of work and tell effective improvement stories.

The post will work alongside the rest of the Communications and Marketing Team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to deliver the organisations strategy using a wide range of tactics and most of all, creativity.

The post holder will work as part of the Communications and Marketing Team to deliver a range of support to members, customers and staff with a key focus on the following areas:

  • Lead the design and production of key assets in the organisation such as publications, social graphics, infographics and other visual representations
  • Responsibility for maintaining the organisation's website and subsites and support the upkeep of other digital-based systems
  • Using specialist knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation and Google Analytics continuously improve the organisation's digital presence
