Location: Kirby Muxloe - LE9 2BJ Salary: NMW

We are looking for someone who is looking to start their career in HR; Full training will be provided for the role. All we ask is that you have an interest in HR and are willing to learn the rest!

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials :

  • Knowledge of ER procedures and processes such as disciplinary, grievance, disability, diversity and equal opportunities

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Within this position, you’ll also be :

  • Drafting offer letters and contracts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

  • Monitoring receipt of new starter and checking that all documentation is complete

  • Generating of HR reports as required

  • Liaising with the payroll department where necessary, ensuring provision of information to meet payroll deadlines such as new starter details, change forms, leavers, etc

  • Ensuring all HR policies and processes are adhered to by managers and staff

  • Developing of good working relationships ensuring requests for information and queries are responded to expediently

  • Note taking and providing HR support at informal meetings, plus formal investigatory, disciplinary and grievance meetings

  • Maintaining of employee files, ensuring confidentiality and Data Protection Legislation is fully complied with

  • Updating and maintaining staff database information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
