Hi, I am Aiden, I am 13 years young, I live with my Mum, Dad, and my siblings in the Chryston area. I have autism, a learning disability, and a hearing impairment.
I am looking for a Male Support Worker to provide one to one care and assistance to attend local groups with me and support to participate in social activities.
I enjoy playing sports, (mainly football), I like gaming and crazy golf. I have a keen interest in history and Geography.
I am looking for someone who will take a pro-active approach to support and encourage me to get involved in activities suited to my needs and interests.
Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
- Walking and general exercise, assisting with participation in social activities, physical activities, and social groups.
- Accompany me to social groups and days out.
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living.
Driver is essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid.
Experience working with someone with a disability is required for this role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)
Recruiting for 1 position.
Days and times : Permanent position for 5 hours every fort-night. - Will be discussed more at interview.
Hourly rate : £10.90 per hour- If you are selected for the next stage of the recruitment process a member of the Take Control Team will be in touch to arrange the next steps.
