Job Title: Humanities TeacherLocation:Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, RedcarJob Type:Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Education and TrainingJob Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons in Humanities subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious StudiesAssess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and projectsProvide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and developmentMaintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performanceCollaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environmentRequired Qualifications:A recognised teaching qualificationEducation:A degree in a relevant Humanities subjectExperience:Prior experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary levelKnowledge and Skills: Deep understanding of the National Curriculum and examination requirementsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to inspire and motivate studentsOrganisational skills to manage workload effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:Postgraduate qualification in EducationWorking Conditions:The role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable.
