Electrical Maintenance Engineer

On behalf of our manufacturing client in Essex, Spring Recruitment are looking for an electrical biased Engineering Craftsman to Provide engineering support to the Production department to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime. Carry out PPM tasks on a daily basis. You will be required to Provide support to the production process of the plant, ensuring all production needs from engineering perspective are dealt with in a timely manner. Carry out daily checks on all plant rectify any issues immediately report any issues that cannot be resolved immediately. Liaise with Production supervisors at the start of each shift to identify potential stops. And any ongoing issues. Participate in the call out system responding as able to callouts to rectify faults. Carry out PPM tasks from Pemac. on a daily basis. Work safely at all times use Correct PPE as required Complete Job requests as issued by the Maint. supervisor and Engineering Manager Plant Modifications, Project work. Designated regular responsibilities. I.E. pump house, fire pumps, Pat testing. Training Requirements SSD Variable Frequency Drives Allen Bradley PLC Fault finding Turning, Milling Basic Electrical Fault finding Pneumatics Is expected to be able to carry out Basic machining operations using the lathe, Mills and welding equipment, to effect a good repair to the process lines Carry out electrical Fault finding using Electrical drawings to an excellent standard, have the ability to make modifications to Electrical circuits, Must be able to design circuits source parts and build electrical circuits as required for plant modificationsand upgrades Good understanding of pneumatic circuits, rams, solenoids etc. Spring Engineering Solutions (a trading name of Roevin Management Services Limited) acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
