Description : Reporting to the BTE Claims Manager, the BTE Technical Claims Specialist (TCS) is primarily responsible for the efficient processing of High Net Worth, large loss and non-panel claims. In doing so, you will work diligently with internal and external partnersto either prevent such claims becoming large losses or mitigating our losses when they do. The ability to work with non-panel solicitors and foresee the risks associated with particular cases is therefore vital. You will provide technical guidance to membersof the department on a pro

  • and reactive basis. Through doing so, you works closely with the Team Leaders and others with the aim of minimising our exposure to unnecessary claims payments and other associated costs. Due to the nature of the role, you likelyto develop and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders including, but not limited to, internal colleagues, the insured and, solicitors. Providing cover and support for Team Leaders may also be required.
