My client, a bespoke manufacturer, are currently recruiting for a Customer Account Coordinator to join their team in Reading. The successful Customer Account Coordinator will play a leading role in managing and harnessing customer relationships. In doingso the individual will take responsibility for running all internal communication and customer service activities for the accounts/territories assigned to the individual, including order processing, export control, contract administration and all project pricingtasks.

Key Responsibilities - Customer Account Coordinator

  • Maintenance of close working relationships both internally and externally
  • Own the RFQ/pricing process ensuring that all customer quotations and tenders are costed, approved and submitted accurately and in a timely manor
  • Ensure that all marketing and sales leads are captured, managed and actioned through the CRM tool
  • Screening of customers (new and existing) to ensure legitimate and legal trading
  • Own and lead the processes of contract/order review and contract/order administration
  • Act as a single point of contact for any emergency customer situations working with relevant internals functions to ensure a timely and accurate resolution
  • Clearly identify, define, communicate and assume complete responsibility for key customer the deliverables.
  • Handle aftersales queries, customer complaints, logging returns and repairs. Sending evaluation reports following product surveys and repairs.
  • Assume responsibility to continuously drive and improve performance of the KPI’s for which the role has responsibility

Qualifications and experience - Customer Account Coordinator

  • GCSE level Math’s and English or foreign equivalent
  • Fluent English speaker, other European languages desirable
  • Proven specific capabilities in: outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to understand and work with complex organisation’s in a matrix environment to achieve results
  • Experience of working and influencing colleagues, customers and business people to execute effectively on customer deliverables
  • A sound understanding of project costing and pricing
  • Proven experience of working with UK and USA Export Control requirements and procedures would be advantageous
