Shop Assistant - Thrifted Vintage Store

Thrifted Ltd is one of the leading worldwide retailers of vintage fashion.

We are a fast-growing company that is striving to create a sustainable real alternative to fast fashion, both online and on the high street.

We sell a wide mix of vintage menswear and womenswear from across the 1970s - 2000s. We are fashion led; our product mix reflects the latest trends in brands & styles occurring in the UK.

Our main warehouse is based in Grays, Essex.

We have a small shop in East London and are currently looking to open more shops in the South East.

We are not a large corporate. We want our team to enjoy their work in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

However, growing a sustainable fashion business is tough. We look for new team members who can stay motivated, are willing to work hard and can help us make an impact in the world of sustainable fashion.

Role Title :Shop Assistant - Full & Part time. Senior & Junior roles available.

Start date :ASAP

We are currently looking for part time shop assistant staff to work in the new Thrifted store in Lakeside Shopping Centre.

We have a variety of shifts available across 7 days.

Please advise which days you can work.

Main responsibilities :

• Organising and tidying the store
• Merchandising products across the shop floor
• Organising the store displays
• Running the checkout and processing sales
• Managing the changing room
• Unloading and unpacking deliveries, and restocking rails
• Greeting customers as they enter the store
• Helping customers in-store - offering advice on sizing, sale offers and more!

Skills and Experience :

• Relevant experience in retail is helpful for senior staff & key holders
• Experience with vintage clothing / Depop again helpful but not essential

Job information & Benefits :

• Working hours: Shifts available throughout the week - 5,6, 8 & 9 hour shifts.
• Weekly hours - from 16 hours up to 30 hours.
• Pay: £9.50 - £9.90; senior roles & experience may attract more.
• Pay is regularly reviewed and updated based on changes in responsibility and job role._
• Location: Unit 104, Lakeside Shopping Centre.
• Working area: across the store.
• Holiday - accrued based on working hours - 40 hour week = 28 days holiday.
