Job description SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant Calling all graduates! If you are looking to work with SEN children, then read on as I have a role to share with you!I am searching for a patient, dedicated graduate teaching assistant looking to work within a mainstream school but supporting SEN students with various needs. We have partnered with several schools within Northamptonshire who are seeking to add to their SEN support team. The role of the SEN graduate teaching assistant is perfect for those who may have little or lots of experience working with children and really aspire to make a difference to children who need that extra help and support!Duties expected to of the SEN graduate teaching assistant;- Assessment and Observation: SEN support members are responsible for assessing and observing students with special educational needs to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and individual requirements. - Individualized Support Planning: SEN support members collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans.- Implementing Interventions- Monitor progress and outcomes- Promoting Inclusion and Positive RelationshipsWhat we require from our graduate teaching assistant; - Any form of degree at any grade and any subject/ to be graduating this year- A DBS on the update service (desired)- An inspiring and motivational personality - Experience working with children of any age- Great communication skillsRate: £100 per dayWe are looking at two starting dates, one for the now and one for a September start so rest assured we have you covered!Don't hesitate in getting in touch today and help us help you become a graduate teaching assistant today!
