We are looking for experienced Fraud Investigators to come and join our team, who will detect, prevent, investigate, and create awareness of fraud and suspected fraud arising within Argos Financial Services.

We have a number of permanent opportunities, working 35 hours per week between the operation hours of 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 5pm on Saturday.
What you need to do - Assess each case referred to ensure mínimal inconvenience to the customer and prevent monetary and reputational loss to the Company.
- Liaise and feedback at all levels internally and externally to ensure that processes are adhered to and enhanced where necessary.
- Improve, enhance, and challenge existing processes and procedures and add value to Argos Financial Services.
- Provide regular guidance, support, and advice to Contact Centre Team Managers.
- Operate and comply within the rules of CIFAS.
- Train, support and guide Fraud Support Advisors and Underwriters and all other areas of the business, as required.
- To prepare witness statements (or similar) to support investigations by the Police, the National Crime Agency, other government departments and other law enforcement bodies which may or may not relate to fraud
What you need to know and show
- A background in financial services and working in a high-pressured environment
- Knowledge of ICA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A detailed understanding of Credit Reference Agencies
- Proficient in Mircosoft products (Outlook, Teams, Work, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience conducting investigations in Fraud or similar role (Audit, Compliance, Finance)
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively between tasks
- A thorough understanding of CIFAS and Hunter and their regulatory requirements
- Problem solving, Strong written and analytical skills and excellent attention to detail with the ability articulate complex messages clearly
- Logical, proactive, confident approach to new challenges and procedures with the ability to articulate complex messages simply and assertively
- Knowledge of GDPR and AML
