Food Production Operative - Pet Food

The Innocent Pet Care Company is an exciting and fast growing manufacturer of luxury pet food and treats. Based in Thorp Arch Estate we use British meat and quality ingredients to produce a range of premium products. The role of the Production Operative is to help the team deliver the production schedule safely to the required quality and efficiency. The main focus will be:

• Manufacturing meat based treats.
• Using the sausage filler, mixer-grinder and other equipment.
• Following recipes, weighing ingredients.
• Cleaning down equipment and ensuring production areas are hygienic and safe.
• Following factory management policies to ensure safe and efficient practices.
• Understanding procedures such as stock rotation, in-take of goods, food hygiene.

As the majority of the job will involve making sausages, experience in handling food and food hygiene will be an advantage. You will be part of a small, friendly and fast-paced team and you must be reliable and willing to turn your hand to any job in order to help deliver a first-class service. Full training will be given.
