Work together to create and maintain beautiful, functional sports facilities for the community.Chappell Enterprises UK are seeking a highly skilled Mower Operator to join our client's Grounds Maintenance team. This role focuses on the expert operation of ride-on rotary mowers, contributing to the exceptional upkeep of the diverse range of green spaces across Ealing.Key Responsibilities:Operate ride-on rotary mowers and other turf machinery with precision and care, maintaining the aesthetics and health of the grassed areas.Conduct routine and seasonal grounds maintenance tasks, adapting techniques and patterns to promote healthy turf growth.Utilise a variety of petrol and electric grounds maintenance tools and equipment, ensuring their proper care, maintenance, and storage.Implement safe working practices, conducting visual risk assessments, and adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.Work flexibly across various sites, adapting to the changing needs of the seasons and weather conditions to ensure the highest standards of grounds presentation.Requirements:Essential: Basic Literacy & Numeric skills, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.Desirable: NVQ in Horticulture (Landscape or Amenity) or equivalent qualification.Proven experience as a Specialist Mower Operator, with extensive knowledge and skill in operating ride-on rotary mowers and turf machinery.Strong understanding of health and safety requirements relevant to the role.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a passion for grounds maintenanceCricket & Bowls Green experience is essentialBenefits:Competitive hourly rate with enhanced rates for overtime and weekend work.Comprehensive training and development opportunities.A supportive team environment with a strong focus on health, safety, and employee wellbeing.To Apply:If you are an experienced Specialist Mower Operator with a passion for maintaining green spaces to the highest standards, we encourage you to apply.Chappell Enterprises UK are an equal opportunities employer and encourage people to apply from all backgrounds.
