The role is an autonomous role and will lead the procurement work across the business. The role will report into the Head of Finance and will have a team of 2 to support the function. The business is going through an exciting time and going through lots of growth and change. The business is also very progressive so will suit someone who likes driving their own area and impacting change. the role will support a number of categories acrossthe business including technology, market data and head office functions The role will be responsible for but not limited to: - Responsibility for procurement for spend and vendors across all main operational categories - IT Hardware, Software and Services, Facilities, HR and Operation - Specific knowledge or experience either administering or procuring Market Data solutions (ideally Bloomberg ) as well as negotiating and managing licenses and subscription agreements - Business partner internal stakeholders to support purchasing needs - Management of competitive bid processes including RFP's and RFI's for high spend items - Conduct and communicate market research & benchmarking as necessary for specialist technologies - Preparation of new contracts, their successful negotiation and management of timely renewals - Maintain procurement contract database Skills and experience required: - Several years of technology or market data and facilities procurement experience, ideally within Financial Services - Excellent knowledge of IT vendors, the marketplace and new technologies - Experience of managing end to end procurement including MSA negotiations and contract tendering - Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects - The CIPS qualification is highly desirable - Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
