Finance Administrator / Melton Mowbray / Full-Time/ Temp 3-6 Months with opportunity for perm/ Up to £22,000 / Office Based

Macildowie are thrilled to be partnered exclusively with this leading manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray on their search for an experienced Accounts Administrator.

  • this is a temporary full-time position with the opportunity to go permanent and 100% office based.

The main purpose of this role is to provide an efficient and effective support to this small finance team by completing and maintaining administrative tasks.

Your Main responsibilities will be :

  • Entering Customer Orders onto the company IT system
  • Providing copy invoices and proof of delivery as necessary
  • Using customer web-based portals to obtain POD (Proof of Delivery) for invoicing purposes
  • Inputting supplier invoices and seeking the correct authorisation to process.
  • Escalating unresolved queries to the Finance Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Answering the telephones to external and internal customers/suppliers.
  • Welcoming visitors and monitoring reception.
  • Directing and responding to incoming enquiries into the business.
  • Maintaining a good working relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Providing cover in other areas of the department when required.

Skills Required :

  • Ideally have had experience in a fast-paced finance function
  • Have a great flexible attitude
  • Be confident dealing with customers and suppliers on the telephone
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt and support other areas of the team when needed
