North East Essex Administration team is a large size team providing service to North East Essex area.

We are highly motivated to provide a professional, efficient and effective service. Our administration team is responsible for the provision of an effective clinical and non-clinical administrative support within the service for the multi-disciplinary teams. You would provide support primarily for the clinicians and general administrative duties and responsibilities.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and adaptable person to be based on a busy ward at Ardleigh ward, The Lakes Mental Health Unit. You should be able to multi task, deal with patients who may be aggressive and be able to stay calm in difficult situations.

You will be expected to work across various sites in North East Essex when required.

What is Staff Bank?

Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.

All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank.

Responsibilities : You would provide support primarily for the clinicians as well as general administrative duties and responsibilities.

In addition to that, you will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services; providing cover where appropriate and operationally required.

In delivering your duties you are expected to display behaviours that are aligned with the Trust values and as required in accordance with the NHS Constitution at all times.
