System Administrator

Job DescriptionA great opportunity to join a software company with global clients as a System Administrator. My client has created a software that is utilised in Accounting, Management & Investment. This unique software has a wide range of uses for investment purposes with a lucrative client base in banks, legal, enterprises & accountants. The software is used across the UK, Europe and the Far-East.A chance to work in a tightknit and friendly environment based in Haywards Heath as part of the software support team. You will provide both internal and external support to a large client base. This position offers hybrid working.Job Responsibilities: Network Servers Management- Diagnosing & TroubleshootingInstalling, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware and application components of the IT systemMonitor performance and maintain systems according to requirementsEnsure security through access controls, backups and firewallsUpgrade systems with new releases and modelsTrain staff on new technologies Experience: Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recoveryMicrosoft SQL Server and Management StudioInternet Information Services (IIS)Network knowledge, including DNS, AD, Group Policy and DHCPKnowledge of SOC 2 (Type 2) and SSAE-18 would be beneficialExperience in a finance/accounting background desirable About you: Natural problem solver with creative flareEager to learn complex solutionsExcellent communication skillsAbility to analyse and process client issues in a methodical wayAdaptable and experience working in a high pressure environmentStrong multitasking skills Package: 30-40k depending on experienceHybrid workingMonday to Friday 9 am- 5pmFull- time permanent contract25 days holidayPensionLife insuranceHealthcare
