Route Planning Administrator

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Route Planning Administrator to join our team home based or office based in Cheddar . You will join us on a part time, permanent basis, working 20 hours per week, Mon, Wed, Fri (start/finish times to be agreed) or Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri (9am - 3pm includes 1 hour lunch break) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £20,000 - £21,000 per annum, pro rata plus benefits.

About the Route Planning Administrator role : This important administrative role will be pivotal to providing operational service support to the Shell Field Team ensuring that the CR Coaches can operate effectively whilst delivering maximum performance output and efficiency potential. Working from theoffice and/or home you must efficiently manage your time to deliver all elements of your role in a timely manner.

You will ultimately report into the CR Coaches UK Team Lead, whilst actively supporting the Head of Field Team Operations, Business Insights and Marketing Managers in maintaining a consistent highly effective suite of support functions.

Key tasks of our Route Planning Administrator : Assisting the UK Field Team Lead, CR Coach Manager, Business Insights Specialist and FSC/Shell Marketing team(s) in being responsible for;

  • The creation of Team schedules ensuring delivery of the Site Visit Cycle as per contract requirements
  • Site Visit results input and movement trackers identifying sites required for Hypercare and adjusting Field Team schedules accordingly
  • Field Team holiday planning ensuring service coverage levels are maintained to include; weekend working, Bank Holiday and seasonal planning
  • Effective journey planning ensuring the most time and cost effective routes are utilised
  • Field Team accommodation booking as required ensuring budgets are not exceeded
  • Total expenses tracking highlighting overspends and savings opportunities to the leadership team
  • Ordering colleague uniforms to include tendering quotes, raising PO’s, placing orders within budgeted allowance

What we’re looking for in our Route Planning Administrator : Essential

  • 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English
  • Experience using Microsoft and Adobe software packages

Experience

  • Background in a customer service industry
  • Experience in administrative work

Technical/Job Skills

  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint primarily)
  • Self-motivated. Willing to learn through personal development and dedicated to making a difference
  • Able to understand, interpret and translate complex statistical/performance data and convert into impactful presentations/spreadsheets
  • Must be highly numerate
  • Must be meticulous in “the detail” and able to self audit prior to distributing work
