Job Description Safran Landing Systems is the world leader of aircraft landing and braking systems. The company has partnerships with 30 airframers in civil, regional, commercial and military transport, and supports 27,000 aircraft that operate around 70,000 landings daily.What will I be doing? The Customer Support department Spares Supply Chain is responsible for forecasting, supplying and distributing spare parts on a global scale to operators / airlines, MROs and aircraft manufacturers. The delivery performance of spare parts is a key success factor in our business. The spares demand planning team leader is responsible for producing a stable, accurate spares demand plan, and embarking the business on this vision. The ultimate goal is to provide excellent service to our customers whilst optimizing inventory. You will support this objective by providing an accurate demand plan supported by appropriate safety stock levels. The position consists of building and leading a global team of demand planners accountable for the landing gear spares demand plan. A vital part of your mission is to work with key stakeholders to ensure all relevant information is taken into account in the demand plan and clearly communicate all key assumptions and changes to production and the wider business. The ability to promote a collaborative and motivated team is fundamental to this role.
