About the Role In this role you will be responsible for solution delivery throughout the projects lifecycle by shaping the solution and its approach to delivery and achieving the benefits and the agreed scope. This will be a key role interfacing between Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Quality Assurance leads and will be essential to the successful delivery of the portfolio. You will also be accountable for producing and owning the solution architecture for complex solutions spanning multiple components, systems, and capabilities. Collaboration with other SMEs across ETS will be expected to ensure there is alignment and clarity of proposed solutions and their approach. Additionally, having the ability to work collaboratively with other delivery teams is essential. Accountabilities: Creating and leading IT systems solution design to meet the desired business outcomes and support delivery to time, cost, and quality. Drive and own the creation and approval of Architecture artefacts in line with best practice and appropriate Architecture Governance forum. Actively collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and Delivery Portfolio ensuring proposed and implemented solutions are aligned to business strategies, roadmaps, target architecture and portfolio budgets. Working with engineering and delivery teams, both in-house and 3rd party based, to ensure their detailed designs align to the end-to-end solution architecture and align to architecture principles. Facilitating and participating in detailed design reviews and ensuring that all components of the solution are aligned to the target state vision. Supporting wider project teams in the build, test, and deployment phases to ensure successful implementation of the solutions. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. About You Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who can drive on the standard of what solution should look like from design to delivery. Being delivery orientated with the ability to work collaboratively will make you a standout for this position. This role will require someone with a good understanding and experience across technology software transformations across a number of back-office functions such as Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain & HR. Skills & Attributes: Ability to understand a wide range of disciplines in enough detail to communicate effectively with experts in those areas to enable delivery of E2E solutions designs. Strong background architecting solutions across hybrid environments covering on-premises, multiple public cloud and SaaS based services i.e. Sales Force, SAP Enterprise architecture Ability of managing third parties required to participate in the definition of solution designs, ensuring continuity of design with all internal aspects. Strong background and understanding of Solution Architecture methodologies and end to end delivery of solutions.
