On behalf of this leading international branded chemical distribution and related service company we are looking for a Customer Services Co-ordinator to join their friendly team in Runcorn, Cheshire.

As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will join a group of companies and leading business within the chemical industry for toll blending, contract packing, bulk liquid storage and sample management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with customers, site operations and transportation with regards to supply chain matters.
  • Attend meetings with members of the sales team regarding customer special instructions, trends, and product lines.
  • Attend Division Sales meetings and training to widen personal knowledge of the business.
  • Receive and place customer purchase orders on to systems and manage intervening processes through to delivery.
  • Daily communication with customers to update delivery schedules in parallel with stock availability.
  • Maintain and update customer-specific regulatory product files.
  • Support External Account Managers with customer information, feedback, observations, etc which may have bearing on future business opportunities.
  • Implement, progress, and assist resolution of Customer Complaints in conjunction with the sales, operations and supply chain teams.
  • Maintain and update customer information in the CRM.
  • Coordinate new customer set-up’s, in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Perform any other administrative duties arising within the Business Unit.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience of working with CRM and Sage systems.
  • Experience working at a chemical company or a chemicals distribution company.
  • University Degree (BA/BS) in a science/ business related study.
