You'll provide quality assurance support to ensure company activities that are delivered within submarine projects are fit for purpose.Day-to-day, you'llProvide quality support to submarine related projects and activitiesFormally review and approve activities and work documentation, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory requirementsCarry out onboard submarine audits and conformance checksCheck that the documentation for completed work has been completed in accordance with agreed technical specificationsThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.Essential experience of the Quality PractitionerHave an in-depth knowledge of quality assurance principals in a highly regulated technical, engineering or manufacturing environmentHave a sound understanding of business and continuous improvement techniques including root cause analysis and performance measurement metricsHave an in-depth technical background and be able to interpret specifications, codes, standards, and engineering drawingsHave a sound knowledge of MS Office applications and engineering software systems in order to compile reportsQualifications for the Quality PractitionerNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering disciplineSecurity Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
