Security Team Lead

The Facilities department at Dorset County Hospital are excited to announce that we are looking for a band 4 Security Team Lead. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team lead to set up and run a multi disciplinary team, ensuring that patient and staff safety is paramount. A background in Security is preferred but not essential as full training in security within a health care setting will be given. - The Security Team Lead Assists the Facilities Manager in the management, coordination and the smooth day to day running of hard and soft facilities services. - Line management of staff and contracts associated with these services. - Undertake projects, collation of information and producing regular reports on behalf and for the Facilities Manager in relation to these services. - Provide cross-cover for Portering Services, Transportation & Accommodation and deputise when required. - Under the direction of the Facilities Manager effectively co-ordinate, manage and work strategically to deliver the functions of Security Services including developing and managing resources to support providing a reliable customer orientated service - Identify and anticipate changing demands on the service, developing and implementing plans to meet them and leading in the change management process. - Support the Facilities Manager in reviewing the facilities management function, to create and implement a programme of reorganisation that will deliver improved patient focussed services - Appropriately operate CCTV in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Trust license for the detection and prevention of crime.
